Banquet Chef
The Mission Resort and Club is looking for a Banquet Chef. Located in Florida’s hill county and spread over 500 acres, Mission Resort is home to four restaurants, 16,000 square feet of meeting space, two golf courses, and a 250-room inn.
As the Banquet Chef you will be responsible for food served at large events such as weddings, conventions, corporate functions, and etc. This includes, planning, coordinating, and executing banquet menus in collaboration with the culinary team; supervise and lead kitchen staff during banquet events to ensure seamless operations; maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste; collaborate with event planners and clients to customize menus based on their preferences and dietary restrictions; monitor and control food costs, ensuring efficient use of ingredients and minimizing waste; train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and performance; adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment; stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into banquet menus; and completing opening and closing duties as necessary and can work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, this could be the job for you!
