Come out and meet Dionna and her family... And celebrate the Mike Welch Legacy Build home dedication! The ceremony will feature an opportunity to meet our newest Habitat homeowner, view the home, and celebrate the completion of the Mike Welch Legacy Build. Mike was “just an old carpenter” In Mike’s memory and to honor his life, friends and family joined us to build this special Habitat home to provide affordable housing in Lake County, Florida for this deserving family. Mike spent a significant amount of time as Construction Manager with the Habitat Lake-Sumter affiliate prior to working for Habitat for Humanity International. Mike's legacy lives on in advocacy - building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Join us for light refreshments and good company, the Alstons are so very excited to move into their new home and they welcome everyone to come over and visit with them!
