Description
The City of Leesburg offers American Red Cross Learn to Swim Lessons. The lessons are group lessons 30 minutes each lesson for two weeks, Monday – Thursday. Morning time slots: 8:15, 9:00, 9:45, 10:30 Evening time slots: 5:15, 6:00, 6:45, 7:30 Swim lesson registration is held at the HO Dabney Leesburg Aquatic Center. Participants will be tested on this day and need to wear a bathing suit. Session 2 Registration: June 18; 10:00 am – 12:00pm 2nd session registration: Make-up date - June 21: 5:00pm – 6:00pm 2nd session program dates: June 27 – July 8 (no lessons on July 4) Swim Lesson Levels •Infant & Parent (6 – 36 months) •Preschool Aquatics (3-5 years) Levels 1,2,3 •Learn to Swim (6 – 16 year) Level 1 – Introduction to Water Skills Level 2 – Fundamental Aquatic Skills Level 3 – Stroke Development Level 4 – Stroke Improvement (recommended to join Rec Swim team) Level 5 - Stroke Refinement (recommended to join Rec Swim team) •Adult Lessons Level 1 - Learning the Basics Level 2 – Improving Skills and Swimming Strokes Level 3 – Swimming for Fitness
