Description
Welcome to the first Paddles for Patriots pickleball tournament on May 4th! The tournament will be held on the 6 newly renovated courts in downtown Mt Dora! Lots of fun play, raffles, bake sale, vendors and fun awards for the top players. Anticipate format is round robin (teams rotating). There will be four brackets: Women’s 3.25 & below; Women’s 3.5-4.0; Men’s 3.25 & below and Men’s 3.5-4.0. Cost is $40/person if registered by April 5 ($50/person thereafter). Presented by the GFWC Mount Dora Woman’s Club to benefit Villagers for Veterans, Ashley’s House. Ashley’s House is under construction and will be an all-female veteran transition home offering women veterans a temporary safe haven while also providing job training, counseling, and much needed female camaraderie as they work towards self-sufficiency in a secure and loving environment. Join us for a FUN day raising money for a GREAT cause.
