Join the Leesburg Noon Rotary of Leesburg for this special luncheon featuring an amazing guest speaker from the Internation Lineman Museum, which is relocating to Leesburg!
Andy Price, founder of the International Lineman’s Museum and Hall of Fame, has been involved with the linework industry since 1982 at the young age of 13 when his father founded American Safety Utility Corporation. Since then, he has been immersed in the life, work, and culture of the line industry. In 1997, Andy started the International Lineman’s Museum to try and immortalize the history of this incredible industry. What started as a passion project and dumpster diving behind substations has turned into a full museum dedicated to the history, knowledge, records, and changes the electrical linework industry has gone through since the first time electricity was discovered. In 2006, Andy created the International Lineman’s Hall of Fame in an effort to honor those in the industry who go above and beyond the call of duty, who breathe the brotherhood of the industry, and who know exactly what it means to be a lineman. His hope is to immortalize the history of power lineman and all those who make this industry more than just a job–but a culture, a lifestyle, and a family.
This luncheon is being offered FREE of Charge! However, please RSVP here on the Chamber website.
