While many know Marc Robertz-Schwartz for his marketing, video and production experience, few know that prior to launching Red Apples Media, he spent 20 years working at television stations from Maine to Miami. While working at ABC, NBC and CBS affiliates and owned stations, he was involved in the coverage of some of the most defining local and national news events of that time. A three-time EMMY winner, he brings a depth of experience, insight and knowledge into the news gathering process and has seen his share of news reports and investigations challenged by the newsroom itself, viewers, advertisers and corporate legal departments. Marc will walk us through a news scenario recently experienced by the current "Leadership Lake" class and provoke conversation about what is news, who should it come from and whether the lines have been crossed.
