She has over 20 years' experience in working with quality improvement plans for non-profits and educational systems. \n\nIn 2010\, she helped develop the college-wide internship program at St. Petersburg College and placed over 400 students in six years in IT\, Human Services\, Public Policy\, Biology\, Health Administration and Business. \n\nShe fell in love with the apprenticeship model five years ago as the Apprenticeship Coordinator on a Department of Labor grant and helped the college and a number of business adopt the model. \n\n Susan led the grant steering committee on apprenticeship legislation\, chaired the Florida Expansion Grant Employer IT Outreach Taskforce. She has presented on apprenticeships at numerous conferences and workshops including the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) conference\, the Career Source Apprenticeship Summit\, the Florida Association of Colleges and Employers\, the Florida Career Pathways Network Conference\, the Florida College Access Network and the Society of Information Management Leadership Conference. \n\n Susan's passion is her role as an ambassador for registered apprenticeships.
